Enthused by the artists that you have experienced performing at sh Salon? Curious about how they do what they do? Dying to get your inner diva on? Then here is your opportunity to learn from the performers themselves.

All classes are beginner friendly, no dance experience necessary. Students should wear form fitting workout clothes and may bring a pair of heels to class if desired.

1.Bumps, Grinds & Shimmies – taught by Freya West
Learn the art of isolations with a breakdown of the bump, grind, and shimmy! Once you master the moves, we’ll take them on the dance floor by layering walks and struts!
Start time 3 pm.

2.Burlesque Choreography 101 – taught by Shan de Leers
Learn the building blocks for crafting choreography and how to master those tricky transitions. Go beyond the 5,6,7,8, and learn how to create new acts with surprising choreography or spice up your existing routines!
Start time 4pm.

3.Removals and Peels – taught by Freya West
Burlesque is all about the tease, but it’s also about taking it off with ease and grace. Work with the classic burlesque props of gloves, stockings and bras for truly spellbinding peels! Please bring a pair of gloves, thigh high stockings (can be found at any big box store or online), and a bra to wear over clothes (preferably a back clasp with two hooks).

4.Chair Dance – taught by Shan de Leers
Sometimes dancing alone is hard, so let your chair be your partner! After a warm up this class will break down dancing with your chair. Second half of class will focus on a short choreography connecting you to your chair and your movements. Leggings suggested over booty shorts!
Start time 6pm.

Classes are $25 each or $75 for all four.
