Art Class: Rethinking Inking

Presented by Columbia Museum of Art at Columbia Museum of Art

Wednesdays, December 1, 8, and 15 | 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

In this three-part class, students learn how to work both technically and gesturally with India ink on a variety of surfaces. This class focuses on thinking about ink outside of strict linework and encourages participants to work loosely and experimentally with materials. Allen has worked with the CMA Education & Engagement team for the past two summer camp seasons and, in addition to her studio practice, writes about local arts for Jasper Magazine. All supplies and equipment provided. Ages 15 and up.
