The Friends of African American Art & Culture (FAAAC) celebrates Black Philanthropy Month and Give 8/28, a national day of giving focused specifically on supporting Black-led and Black-benefitting organizations.

Your donation to the FAAAC during the Give 8/28 campaign supports year-round programming, including events that highlight the extraordinary 30 Americans exhibition on view at the CMA from October 9, 2021, through January 17, 2022 (Martin Luther King Day). The FAAAC attracts a diverse audience, often first-time visitors to the CMA, with vibrant programming that highlights the contributions of African American artists to the American cultural landscape.
