UofSC Fall Literary Festival hosts author George Singleton

The University of South Carolina wraps up its twenty-first annual Fall Literary Festival Wednesday, Oct. 28 with George Singleton, the third of three free, virtual events with celebrated poets and authors.

Raised in South Carolina, Singleton has published nine story collections, two novels, a book of writing advice and numerous print articles. His work has been anthologized ten times in New Stories from the South: The Year’s Best. He has received a Pushcart Prize, a Guggenheim fellowship, and the Corrington Award for Literary Excellence.

This virtual event begins at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Nikky Finney will read Wednesday, Oct. 14 and Kelly Starling Lyons will read Wednesday, Oct. 21.
