It’s time for Quarantunes. McKissick’s monthly virtual music series returns with the Upcountry tunes of Gregg “Buffalo” Barfield. With a fantastic mix of Traditional Country & Western Swing, Folk, Bluegrass, Old-Time Gospel, and Jug-band music, this episode of Quaruntunes has something for everyone.

Gregg “Buffalo” Barfield is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, and storyteller from Greenville, South Carolina. Performing professionally since 1994, he has written songs in several genres including traditional country, folk, bluegrass, gospel, and children’s music. First starting at the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, Gregg and his wife Dena Michele Barfield have traveled throughout the Southern States, the Adirondacks, Upstate New York, and New England presenting concerts, workshops, and outreach programs.
