Artist and Activist Terrance Henderson and Community Leader and Organizer Tiffany James have joined forces to present a virtual benefit concert called Sing OUT, Columbia! All proceeds are going to aid the organization Hero to Zero-SC who are working with members of the community to bring our Covid-19 cases to zero. The concert is a collection of pre-recorded remote performances by several performing artists in our community. So many artists and arts organizations have been deeply impacted by the pandemic. This concert is a moment of solidarity as artists to stand for the safety and health of our city as well as a way to engage with our community as performers in the safest way possible. These are songs for change, songs that speak to the moment, songs from the hearts and minds of so many wonderful artists we’ve all enjoyed on stages for many years. Mostly a collection of classic tunes from musical theatre but also some original music as well as songs that simply speak to these artist in this moment. The concert will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube. We promise you don’t want to miss these performing artists lifting their voices in song. You can also make donations directly to performers through Virtual Tip Jars made available during the performance.
