Lunch & Learn: Enslaved People Working at South Carolina College

Lunch & Learn: Enslaved People Working at South Carolina College

Presented by McKissick Museum at Online/Virtual Space

Jill Found, a doctoral candidate in the History Department, has spent her time at UofSC researching the lived experiences of enslaved people on college campuses. Not only has she served as a curator for the UofSC Center for Civil Rights History and Research, but she has also had the opportunity to serve as a facilitator for The Welcome Table SC, a program offered through the SC Collaborative for Race and Reconciliation. During this program, she will present her research about enslaved women working at South Carolina College as a part of Family Weekend activities. This Lunch & Learn will be presented as a pre-recorded lecture with a Live Q&A afterward.

This program is part of the College of Arts & Sciences’ Justice Theme Semester at the University of South Carolina.
