•    Sharri Duncan is an art teacher at Moore Intermediate School in Florence County, where she has taught since 2004. She has recently earned her Masters of Art Education from Converse College. In 2012, she became a National Board Certified Teacher and was elected to the South Carolina National Board Network Board of Directors.  Duncan regularly engages her students with design thinking and STEAM projects and has presented on technology use in the classroom. In 2019 she was named the Moore Teacher of the Year and Florence 1 School District’s Teacher of the Year.

•    Dr. Hyunji Kwon is an associate professor of art education at the University of South Carolina. Her research interests include critical pedagogy and emotion; socially engaging art pedagogy; community-based art education; pedagogy of caring; personal, cultural, and historical trauma; and subjectivity and embodiment, utilizing performative and mixed methodologies. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses while constantly updating with new methods (i.e., graphic novel, STEAM projects) and technology (i.e., 360-degree camera, augmented and virtual reality) and by incorporating emerging issues and trends in the field of art education.

•    Alice Gentili is in her 21st year of teaching in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District in Massachusetts. In addition to her academic degrees, she holds certification in instructional technology and STEM. She uses iPads in the art classroom for 3D design, digital art, media art, and Google Classroom and is currently focused on developing project-based middle level  STEAM curriculum for the maker-centered classroom. Gentili’s skill as an art educator has been widely recognized: she has been named the 2017 NAEA Eastern Region Art Educator of the Year, the 2017 NAEA/Art Education and Technology Outstanding Educator, the 2015 Massachusetts Art Educator of the Year, and the 2012 Massachusetts Middle School Art Educator of the Year.

•     Dr. EunJung Chang is Associate Professor of Art Education at Francis Marion University. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University, Bloomington. Her research interests include museum education, preservice teacher education, integrated curriculum, cross-cultural education, and STEM/STEAM education. She has presented her research at state, national, and international conferences. In 2014, she received a Higher Education Level Award of the Year from the South Carolina Art Education Association. She has published articles in Studies in Art Education, Art Education, International Journal of Education Through Art, School Arts, etc. as well as book chapters in NAEA publication. She also authored a book, Personal Meaning Making: Understanding Visitors’ Art Learning Experiences from a Museum Experience.
