Carolina Arts

Presented by Carolina Arts at Online/Virtual Space

It’s day one of the launch of the July 2020 issue of “Carolina Arts”, which can be downloaded at (www.carolinaarts.com). It’s Summer time now so a few more things have taken time off, as if the Pandemic hasn’t slowed everything to a crawl. But we have 47 pages of what is going on in one form or another. It’s hard keeping up with things these days as plans are changing from minute to minute. And, if you’re like me – I’m not making any plans. I’m just going with the flow hoping I’m going to land somewhere safe. Wouldn’t it be nice to be in a water park riding on an inner tube down one of those flowing rivers – in the shade, sipping on a raspberry daiquiri, listening to my iTunes play list of music from the 60s & 70s – all by myself? I could ride all day and as my drink gets low, a robot would hand me another fresh drink. And while I’m just moving with the flow, another robot was checking my e-mail and sorting it all and putting it where it all belongs, in between making social media posts in my name. As the sound of a needle cutting across a record album brings me back to reality, I hear one of the Grandboys telling me he’s hungry and asking, repeatedly, when am I going to stop and make him something for breakfast? See you on day two – if I make it. But in the meantime can you give this post a share so others can find out what the Carolinas are doing other than spiking the virus.
