Hey Parents! Ready to engage with your Tween?
Join Richland Library’s Let’s Talk Race team for a special edition of the Tween Reading & Writing Club (TR&WC), which will run from Friday, June 26th to Friday, July 17th.

This session we’ll be reading Jerry Craft’s, New Kid – winner of the Newbery Medal, Coretta Scott King Author Award, and Kirkus Prize for Young Readers’ Literature.  On  Friday, June 26th click on the link below to check out the eBook OR the eAudiobook (with no holds) via Hoopla.  Conversation starters and activities will encourage family discussions about race and equity.  These prompts will be posted to Richland Library’s TR&WC Facebook Group throughout the session. A final group meeting will allow tweens and caregivers to engage with each other in real time.
