Make Music Day | Bash the Trash Environmental Arts

Presented by Make Music Alliance at Online/Virtual Space

This Make Music Day, join Bash the Trash Environmental Arts in raising awareness about trash pollution by building fun instruments from found, household objects! The performers and educators of Bash the Trash are offering their innovative designs for wind, percussion, and string instruments from everyday refuse. These amazing instruments tackle issues of waste and offer us an opportunity to look at “trash” in a new way. Today, we are highlighting percussion. This activity is musical fun for the whole family. Once you’ve built your instruments, be sure to post your videos playing the song of your choice using #BashTheTrash and #MakeMusicCola on June 21st for a chance to be featured on the Koger Center social media throughout Make Music Day. Full instructions and other Bash the Trash instruments can be found by visiting www.MakeMusicDay.org
