WHAT: Rooftop Rhythms, hosted by the City of Forest Acres, the popular, free neighborhood event, offering local food and local businesses celebrating the City of Forest Acres, will take place Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The City of Forest Acres plans to honor Forest Acres Police Officer Greg Alia, who lost his life in the line of duty earlier this fall, at Rooftop Rhythms.

This family-friendly evening will also feature live music and free children’s entertainment. Forest Acres restaurants will have dishes available for purchase. Stay tuned to Facebook as more restaurants are added. Admission is free. Beer, wine (by Liquid Assets) and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Cash only, please.

WHERE: The rooftop of Richland Mall, at the corner of Beltline Boulevard and

Forest Drive (3400 Forest Drive).

MORE: Families can bring lawn chairs and blankets to settle in and enjoy the tunes. Children will enjoy free balloon art by Joey Young, face painting by SarahDippity, magic by John Tudor, Shutterbooth photo booth with fun photo props, and hula hoops with Lunatrix. Please, no coolers or pets.
