The Columbia Museum of Art hosts the fifth annual Spooktacular Night at the CMA family fun event sponsored by the Junior League of Columbia on Saturday, October 24, from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. This free Halloween party sees the CMA transform into an eerie good time with ghosts, bats, art stations, sweet treats, spooky gallery tours, and even a Mad Scientist’s Laboratory! “The CMA’s Education Department started this about five years ago as a way to engage family audiences and make the museum more accessible,” says Director of Education Kerry Kuhlkin-Hornsby. “We decided to go with Halloween because it’s such an exciting holiday for all ages.” Families are invited to come in costume for a welcoming and creative way to celebrate Halloween. Admission is free with a donation to Harvest Hope Food Bank.
