Virtual Family Astronomy Nights

Virtual Family Astronomy Nights

Presented by South Carolina State Museum at Online/Virtual Space

Fri., May 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Ever look up at the night sky and wonder about all the constellations? Join us for another Family Astronomy Night this Fri., May 8, at 7:30 p.m. and learn more about charting the skies with help from our museum astronomy educators and observatory staff. Plus, we’ll even be making a Star Wheel together to help you with your own stargazing. Registration required, follow the link to sign up!

Families are invited to join museum educators each Friday for a special, virtual program all about astronomy. With so many twinkling, sparkly things in the sky – how do you know what you’re looking at? This evening will focus on the South Carolina sky and different constellations and celestial objects you’ll be able to see (and how to know what you’re looking at). The activity for this evening will be a Star Wheel and will only require you to have a few things on hand.
