Help kick off our newly revamped reading club! We’re going to have different community figures select a book and lead discussion throughout the year. We’re opening with Shige Kobayashi’s selection of The Napoleon of Notting Hill by G.K. Chesterton. “The Napoleon of Notting Hill is ‘a fantasy of the future’ written in 1904 about the year 1984, and it sorta tells the story of Wes Anderson if we put him in one of his own movie universes,” says Shige.
Since the book was published in 1904, there are copies available online, including through Project Gutenberg: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/20058/20058-h/20058-h.htm
