Rooftop Rhythms Rocks Forest Acres Twice this Fall

WHAT: Cooler weather means the return of Rooftop Rhythms, hosted by the City of Forest Acres. This popular, free neighborhood event, which offers local food and includes local businesses celebrating the City of Forest Acres, will take place twice this fall, on Sept. 24 and Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

As always, this family-friendly evening will feature live music and free children’s entertainment. Forest Acres restaurants will have dishes available for purchase. Stay tuned to Facebook as more restaurants are added. Admission is free. Beer, wine (by Liquid Assets) and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Cash only, please.

Thursday, Sept. 24

6-9 p.m. – THE MAXX will have the crowd dancing and singing the night away.

Thursday, Oct. 29

6-9 p.m – The Men of Distinction will rock the rooftop.

WHERE: The rooftop of Richland Mall, at the corner of Beltline Boulevard and Forest Drive (3400 Forest Drive).

MORE: Families can bring lawn chairs and blankets to settle in and enjoy the tunes. Children will enjoy free balloon art by Joey Young, face painting by SarahDippity, magic by John Tudor, Shutterbooth photo booth with fun photo props, and hula hoops with Lunatrix. Please, no coolers or pets.
