When the kids are away, the actors will play!

Join us for our popular new series of adults-only performances of our Mainstage productions.  We perform the same script that we present to the kids, but our cast members loosen up and bring out double- (and triple!) entendres.  This is an unpredictable evening of adult fun and surprises that is pretty much guaranteed to make you say, “I can’t believe I saw that in a Children’s Theatre!”   And yes, while 8:00 is late for children’s theatre, you’ve still got time to hit the town after the show with a permanent grin on your face and your sides cramping from laughing so hard!  

This performance is appropriate for ages 16 and older.

Tonight’s Performance: Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type
Farmer Brown has big trouble.  The animals on his farm want electric blankets in the barn.  When he refuses, the chickens and cows join forces and strike in peaceful protest: No blankets = no milk, no eggs! With the help of their trusty typewriter, the animals and Farmer Brown work toward a compromise in this hilarious “moo-sical” based on the popular Caldecott honor book. 

Admission is by donation at the door.  For a $10 donation you can send any word backstage for one of the actors to work into the show!
