French Baroque music promises an evening full of delights.
Join us for a program filled with the delights of French Baroque music featuring lilting instrumental dances by Marais, Dornel, and Rebel. The vocal music illuminates the genius of Julie Pinel in her songs for springtime with gamba and recorder obbligatos plus rapturous love songs by Lully and Lambert on this “Charming Night.”
Performers for the evening are Brittnee Siemon, mezzo-soprano; Jean Hein, baroque recorder; Mary Hostetler Hoyt, baroque violin; Erika Cutler, baroque violin; Hazel Ketchum, lute, soprano; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; Jerry Curry, harpsichord.
“Concert Conversations” begin at 7:00 p.m. with Sarah F. Williams followed by the performace at 7:30 p.m.
