Please be sure to sign the 2015 “Year of the Shag” Registry Book  at the Capital City Shag Club’s Table at each venue.   Please register for the Amateur Shag Contest  at the Capital City Shag Club’s Table.  Bring your chairs on Sat. & Sun. afternoons! There will be food and drinks for sale on Main Street on Saturday.

           Mitch Barkoot and Margie Lee, a Capital City Shag Club member,  are shagging on the “History of the Shag” video.  Mitch has passed away.  Norman Barkoot is his brother and will do the spotlight dance with Margie Lee.

            JoJo Putnam, who is in the video,  and Betty Kane,  They are in the Hall of Fame.   JoJo lives in Columbia and Betty is from Sumter, SC.

            Jeremy Webb and Kayla Henley,  They are the 2014 National and Grand National Junior Shag Champions.   Jeremy lives in Lexington and Kayla is from Elon, NC
