Learn the basics of Visual Thinking Strategies and participate in guided gallery activities that incorporate inquiry-based discussion and games to engage and inspire. Take hands-on mini workshops on acrylic techniques led by painter and Golden Working Artist, Lee Monts, and paper sculpture techniques led by local assemblage artist, Flavia Lovatelli, to get inspired and learn new techniques to replicate in the classroom. Plus, get a tutorial on framing and matting from Director of Education & Engagement, Jackie Adams. All materials provided. Registration fee includes gallery admission. Participants earn eight hours of professional renewal credit.
