30.30+ PhotoSC's Benefit Photo PopUP Show

PhotoSC pops up the diverse photographic images of 52 photographers one night only Thursday, January 30 at 701 Whaley. The highly successful photo exhibit, 30.30+, represents the most modern of art forms with 52 photographers celebrating the medium thru their art, vision and interpretation of world.

The self-curated show exhibits images by local photographers spanning over 50 years of experience and practice, with artists producing images that spans the range of photographic disciplines to include portraiture, documentary, landscape, wildlife, street photography, Southern photography, surrealism and abstract photography.

Celebrating its first year as a startup arts organization, PhotoSC is excited about showcasing this new photographic work as examples of excellent photography that elevates the role of photography as art, work that can be found in Columbia, SC.

The show benefits PhotoSC, a newly formed nonprofit that has adopted a vision to develop a dialogue about photography and the photographic arts; an appreciation of the most contemporary and ever-changing art form and its role in society, while serving as an informative and engaging resource for photographers, artists, students, and scholars through exhibitions, classes, and a community outreach.
