Lunch & Learn | Fashion Flashback

Presented by Historic Columbia at Seibels House & Garden

Take a mental break from work and join Historic Columbia for a 30-minute Lunch & Learn session. With over 6,000 artifacts in our collection, this program is an opportunity to see artifacts that are not usually on display. During this session led by HC Director of Historic House Museums Fielding Freed, we’ll explore 19th-century women’s dresses and accessories. Due to the fragile nature of these clothing items, this is a rare opportunity for the public to see these historic artifacts. Fielding Freed will also provide instructions on caring and preserving old clothing.

Participants may order lunch through Historic Columbia when they make reservations online or over the phone. Please contact reservations@historiccolumbia.org for specific details on food provided if ordering lunch through Historic Columbia. Participants may also bring their lunch from home or a local restaurant, such as Spotted Salamander next to the Seibels House.
