Paige Whitley-Bauguess, returns to Columbia Baroque to bring a “window on the past,” as she presents a program of enchanting interpretive dances with music by Lully, Schmelzer, and Telemann. To complement Paige’s elegant dances, Brittnee Siemon will be featured as soloist in selections from Lully’s opera, Armide, and she will perform a glorious Telemann sacred cantata.
Performers for the concert are Paige Whitley-Bauguess, baroque dancer; Brittnee Siemon, mezzo-soprano; Jean Hein, baroque recorder; Mary Hostetler Hoyt, baroque violin; Erika Cutler, baroque violin; Hazel Ketchum, lute; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; and Jerry Curry, harpsichord
Concert conversations with Peter A. Hoyt begin at 7:00 pm, followed by the performance at 7:30 pm.
