Are you looking for a fast, easy and fun new craft to amaze your friends and family? Welcome to the world of kimekomi – beautiful Japanese fabric handballs, created in every color and pattern you can imagine. All you need is a batch of pretty fabric scraps a smooth Styrofoam ball,a few dabs of glue, and a length of cord or ribbon. You can learn the simplest patterns and then move on to more intricate and challenging designs Make kimekomi as Christmas ornaments, party tokens or as a playful gift for someone special. Nothing could be simpler or more fun! this workshop is designed for Beginners. Class limited to minimum of 4 and maximum of 12. Registration fee of $50 includes instruction, materials and operating costs. Workshop will be on Saturday December 7 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Columbia Art Center, 1227 Taylor Street.
