The South Carolina State Museum is proud to host Celebración de la Herencia Hispana to celebrate Hispanic heritage.

This event provides an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate and recognize the Hispanic culture in South Carolina. Enjoy this family friendly day featuring live music and dance performances, authentic food for purchase, cultural displays, kids activities and lots more.

Featuring:

• Live music from Latin Caravan
• Dance demonstrations from Sincopao and Latin Heritage.
• A special fashion show by the South Carolina Latina Project showcasing beautiful traditional Latin American dresses, each with its own historic or cultural reference
• Vibrant cultural displays
• Kids Activities, including a chance to conquer the “unbreakable piñata.”

Plus, bring your appetites because authentic Latin American food from Los Bellos Portales will be available for purchase!
