Learn how to get rid of plastic bags by creating something for the homeless.
Learn how to crochet “plarn” (plastic yarn) to create portable sleeping mats for the homeless as part of Operation Bedroll. Materials will be provided. Students will need to bring a size “Q” crochet hook. This is part of a collaborative effort to provide portable sleeping mats to the 200+ chronically homeless in the Midlands area. Come and enjoy learning while doing something worthwhile to give back to the community. There is no charge for this workshop but you must be registered. Class size limited to minimum of 3 and maximum of 15. Instruction by Bohumila Augustinova and Brenda Oliver
