The About Face Group is hosting their first art show in 7 years. The About Face Group is a group of inspired artists, representing a wide range of abilities, who love to draw and paint. The disciplines include Figure, Portrait and Plein Air. All works of art will be shown from the efforts of new to well seasoned and award winning artists.

This show will be a great example of the high caliber of creativity and talent we have here in Columbia, SC.

About Face: 

The About Face is a group of artist that work together and enjoy fellowship creating art in and around Columbia, SC since 1996. It started in the attic of its founder, Craig Carlson, with 5 artists. Over time the group grew and earned the recognition of the Columbia Museum of Art. About Face Group moved their drawing location to the Columbia Museum of Art where some About Face Group Art Shows were hosted. Since the Columbia Museum of Art started renovations a few years ago, the About Face Group has moved to 701 Whaley for their drawing sessions. Now our weekly email updates go out to over 250 artists. The About Face Group is welcoming everyone to visit this l show. We are thankful and looking forward to working with Tapps Arts Center.
