Women's History Trivia Night at 701 CCA!

Presented by 701 Center for Contemporary Art at 701 Center for Contemporary Art

It’s time to put your knowledge of women’s history to the test! Join us on Tuesday, August 20, 7:30 p.m. for “Women’s History Trivia Night” at 701 CCA, presented in conjunction with the current exhibition, Persistence. This exhibition presents over fifty commemorative medals by artist Mana Hewitt. The series is in recognition of the courage and perseverance of women who have challenged societal perceptions and worked to improve conditions for all. Each medal characterizes an important female, including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Helen Keller, Sonia Sotomayer, Amelia Earhart, Sojourner Truth, Frida Kahlo, and more.

Are you part of a local women’s group or just know a lot about women’s history? We invite groups of 4 to register as teams for this fun night of trivia. There is no fee to participate, but it is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We only have space for 6 teams and there will be prizes for winning teams!

Would you like to participate, but don’t have a team? We also invite women to volunteer as question readers!

Whether you are participating or would just like to watch, join us for this fun night of trivia where we celebrate the women who have played a vital role throughout history in the arts, science, politics, law, sports, entertainment, and many other fields.

Cash bar and food!

Contact Hannah Shepard at director@701cca.org or 803.319.9949 to participate.
