This workshop will provide the student with the basics of wood burning.
Come and try your hand at creating beautiful wood burned projects under the expert guidance of Dr. Linda Lake. Using a solid point or variable temperature wood burner, students will learn how to transfer images to wood, how to control the tool, and how to use different strokes creating shading.
Included in the registration fee of $60 will be all wood necessary for the class projects and a tutorial for future reference. Students should bring their own wood burner tool (Walnut Hollow or similar).
There will be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 in the class. This is appropriate for ages 14 through adults. For more information contact us at brenda.oliver@columbiasc.gov or 545-3093.
