Historians state that Motanka dolls appeared in the Ukraine several thousand years ago. They are symbols of authenticity and feminine wisdom. The use of a needle is forbidden when making the Motanka. Only fabric folding and thread reeling are allowed for the Ukrainian national art form. Motanka serves as a decorative element of interior, and as such will definitely draw attention of your guests. It an be a great gift for friends and family. Skill level Beginner. Class limited to minimum of 3 and maximum of 12. Class fee of $50 includes instruction, all supplies and materials and operating costs.
