Persistence presents over fifty commemorative medals by artist Mana Hewitt. The series is in recognition of the courage and perseverance of women who have challenged societal perceptions and worked to improve conditions for all. Made of etched brass, copper, sterling silver and enamel, each medal characterizes an individual through portraiture, quotes and biographies.
