Attention B-B-Q’ers, from back-yard grillers to BBQ pros, we invite you to enter our BBQ Cook-Off! The Palmetto Progressive Community Development Corporation (PPCDC), invites all to our FIRST ANNUAL BBQ COOK-OFF on First Nazareth Baptist Church’s iconic Blueberry Hill, 1206 Oak Street – Saturday, October 12, 2019 – 11:00 a.m. Our Judges will award prizes for the best BBQ: 1st place-$500./ 2nd place-$250./ 3rd place -$150. The entry fee is only $75.00, with option to sell at end of the event. We invite the public to attend -but- Taster’s Tickets at $10.00 provide guests a Taster’s sample from each BBQ Contestant. There will be other non-BBQ food offerings; non-food vendors; fun & games, and great stage entertainment. The event will benefit community improvement and service projects.
