Soda City Market will kick off Soda City Suds Week with Suds and Spuds: a market featuring South Carolina craft beer and potato-based treats on March 21 from 9am-3pm on the 1400-1500 blocks of Main Street in downtown Columbia.

This free event will celebrate Columbia (which we lovingly nicknamed Soda City after seeing the abbreviation “Cola”), its burgeoning craft brewery scene, and the versatile and delicious potato.

One of Soda City’s favorite vendors, Happiness Bomb Boiled PNUTS will also be treating customers to a free music and puppet show beginning at 11:20 am in honor of their first year at the market.

The music lineup includes:

            Elim Bolt (11:20am)

            Stefanie Santana (noon)

            The Good Witch (12:40 pm)

            Can’t Kids (1:20 pm)

            Happiness Bomb (2:00 pm)

Open year round, rain or shine, the Soda City Market hosts farmers, artisans, local retailers, collectors, produce, ethnic foods and grocery, baked goods, and ready-to-eat food each week.  The market is located on the 1400-1500 block of Main Street in downtown Columbia.
