Palmetto Mastersingers will join the Irmo HS Concert Choir, Union United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, Lyttleton Street, United Methodist Church Children’s Choir and SHE Sings for a night of music.
The Palmetto Mastersingers present a Festival of Choirs program Saturday, February 23th, 7:30 PM at Saint Andrews Baptist Church 230 Bush River Road in Columbia. The choirs participating are the Irmo High School Concert Choir, the Union United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, the Lyttleton Street (Camden) United Methodist Church Children’s Choir and SHE Sings, Columbia’s new all women’s chorus. Each choir will present a set of music, and then all will unite for the finale, “Hope for Resolution,” arranged by Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory.
The Palmetto Mastersingers artistic director is Dr. Lillian Quackenbush. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children and can be purchased at the door or at www.palmettomastersingers.org
