"Mano a Mano" - featuring Alice Rodriguez and Freddy Ahuejote

at Unknown

"Mano a Mano" brings together two Latino artists in a friendly challenge to create art in public spaces. Artists have the opportunity to choose a common theme and then have the challenge to create the best version of that theme during the allotted time for challenge. Participant artist for this first ever Mano a Mano include painter/interpretive dancer Alice Rodriguez and mixed-media artist Freddy Ahuejote.

“Mano a Mano” belongs to our ongoing initiative Arts in Motion, which is aimed to present Latino artistic and cultural activities in public spaces across the state. Our goal with this initiative is to provide members of the Hispanic community, and the community at large, the opportunity to experience first-hand the magic of Latino artistic creation. Our ultimate goal is to inspire people from the community to get motivated and tap into their own creativity to continue increasing our network of participating artists.

Catch this event at 1502 Main Street.
