Come and discover some African American Art you may not be aware of. Let’s explore the rich traditions of African American art together. In Dave the Potter tradition, create your own poetry on pottery with Eboni Ramm and Paul Moore. Enjoy sweet grass basket presentation and display by Mary Graham-Grant, painting by Dominique Hodges and history of African American music from gospel to present day hip hop by Preach Jacobs. This event is family friendly and admission is free. Join us on Thursday February 7 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at the Columbia Art Center, 1227 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC.
