Mud and Mirrors Work (also known as Lippan Kaaam) is a traditional mural craft of Kutch, India. Though the work is limited mainly to the interior walls, it can be found on the outer walls as well. Mud mirror work gathered attention of the modern world for its intricate pattern and aesthetic perfection and has made a full transition from its unknown modest stature to the mainstream art world, decorating the walls or urban homes. Come learn this distinctive style of painting while also learning about the culture where it originated. Registration fee of $40 covers instruction, all supplies and materials and operating costs.
