Bring your talent and expand into sculpture with this unique 6-week class.
Sculpture provides an outlet for artists to express themselves through caricatures, animals, statues, and a variety of creative objects. This course is perfect for those who have been completed basic hand building or have prior pottery experience. The 6-week course covers building forms or figures; adding details, working with a bust including facial features, and proper techniques for preparing pieces for firing. Students will need their own tools. Clay and glazes are provided. Class meets for 6 weeks on Thursdays from 1 to 3 pm. Class size limited to 3 minimum and 6 maximum. Registration fee of $90 for the 6-week sessions is due prior to the class meeting.
