The ensemble’s first performance of 2015 presents a program of classic music for the concert band and features USC’s new associate professor of horn, J.D. Shaw. A founding member of internationally acclaimed Boston Brass, he performs “The Glass Bead Game” by Jim Beckel. Shaw is an active solo artist and travels extensively throughout the U.S. and many countries in North America, Europe and Asia.
