Sun of Composers: Contemporary Composers Respond to J.S. Bach

This special multi-media performance features the world premiere of five new compositions for oboe, English horn and chamber ensemble by composers Reginald Bain, Jesse Jones, Libby Larsen, Marc Mellits, and John Fitz Rogers. Rebecca Schalk Nagel, oboe and English horn; Jennifer Parker-Harley, flute; Mike Harley, bassoon; William Terwilliger violin; Daniel Sweaney viola; Phillip Bush piano; Tina Milhorn Stallard soprano. Funding for this project provided from the Provost Creative and Performing Arts Research grant.
