Girls Rock Columbia has some big goals for 2019: A brick and mortar space to call our own, expanding staff and providing year-round programming. To help meet these goals, we have enlisted the help of some of our favorite friends and organizations for a fun and energetic night of music and fundraising. Performers will front our Girls Rock Columbia house band for a live band karaoke.

The GRC house band is ready to rock, with members including Emily McCollum on guitar, Ony Ratsimbaharison on bass, Desiree Richardson on keys, and Jessica Oliver on drums and a few surprise guests!

Courageous performers who have volunteered to sing their favorite song include Liz Elliott and Melanie Dubard, representing unsweetened magazine for a duet; Mario Guevara, Event Manager at Columbia Museum of Art and Henry Thomas, local musician and bartender performing a duet; Phillippe Herndon, owner of Caroline Guitar Company; Melanie Huggins, Executive Director of Richland Library; Allison Terracio, elected to Richland County Council; LaLisa, local rapper and emcee; and Ryan Morris of local band FK.MT
