You are invited to join us for a riveting lecture on The Jewish perspective on slavery during the civil war. Nationally renowned expert Dr. Adam Mendelson will lead the discussion. Mendelson is currently serving as the Associate Professor of Jewish Studies and Director of the Perlstine/Lipov Center for Southern Jewish Culture at the College of Charleston. We have limited seating and are encouraging those interested to reserve a seat with us. The event is FREE and open to the public. The event will held Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30pm at the Katie & Irwin Kahn Jewish Community Center.
