Town Theatre presents Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, November 2-18, 2018.
Called “the single most influential creative force in early rock and roll,” Buddy Holly’s works and innovations were mimicked by musicians such as The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. In 2004, Buddy was ranked #13 on the list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stones Magazine. Town Theatre will present the stage version of Buddy’s rise and run through fame until his untimely death alongside fellow musicians Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper.
The incredible legacy of the young man with glasses, whose musical career spanned an all-too-brief period during the golden days of rock and roll, continues to live on in Buddy.
The show runs November 2-18, 2018, under the direction of Hans Boeschen with Lou Boeschen as music director and choreography by Shannon Willis Scruggs.
Show times are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM. Tickets will be available online at towntheatre.com beginning October 26 or through the box office at 803-799-2510. Box office hours are Mon – Fri 12 noon – 5 PM.
