This course offers an introduction to a variety of printmaking processes that are both cost effective and easily adaptable. These include woodblock reliefs, stenciling, xerox monotypes and image transfers. Class meetings will be used for technical demonstrations, looking at a variety of prints and printed matter, and the production of your own prints. By the end of this four week course, each participant will have produced 2 to 3 edition prints and will be able to implement these processes on their own, outside of class. No prior experience necessary.
