Ever wanted to make your own zine? This workshop will cover the ins and outs of zine making in the modern age. Participants will learn the basics of InDesign, flat planning, and zine production to walk away on the second day with their very own publication. Using the equipment at the PrintLab, Indie Grits Labs’ small (but mighty) printer and booklet maker, participants will learn how to construct, scan, assemble, and print their very own zines. Registration cost includes the printing of ten, 12-page zines at the end of the workshop!

Materials: A Mac or PC Laptop running Adobe Indesign is required, however there will be a few extra computers on hand to borrow during class time. Equipment will be available to use during open office hours as well at 1013 Duke Avenue.
