Through Native Eyes: Artwork and Identity

Join us for an evening of storytelling, pottery and basket demonstrations. Be part of a Friendship Dance with Beckee Garris, Artist in Residence for Native American Studies, University of South Carolina, Lancaster. Enjoy drumming by “Keepers of the Word” and more with Native American arts.
Event will be held at Columbia Art Center, 1227 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC 29201 from 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free and family participation is encouraged.
This First Thursday event is part of the Columbia Art Center’s Cultural Art Series “Worlds of Creativity”.
