Auditions for our third season are coming up!

Where: Trustus Theater, 520 Lady St in the Vista

When:
– Saturday, August 25th at 3 PM
– Sunday, August 26th at 6 PM

You only need to attend one. No callbacks.

The audition includes a cold reading and some improv. We ask that everyone applying submit at least one sketch (length is of no importance) that represents your best writing to:

Please submit sketch by Monday, August 27th at 6pm.

Headshot and resume not required but welcome if available.

Note: You must be 21 or over to audition.

The Mothers meet weekly for writers workshops on Mondays from 6:30-8:30pm at the downtown library. This meeting is required for all members.

We also meet weekly for improv practice on Sundays from 11am-1pm at Trustus Theater. This is required for all members who perform in improv shows.

The Mothers are a sketch comedy and improv team that perform at Trustus Theater and throughout the Columbia area. We are actors, comedians, writers, musicians, and friends. We love topical, physical, musical, flatulent, intelligent, heartbreaking, heartwarming, weird, classic comedy. We love each other fiercely and push one another to be funnier, smarter, kinder.
