Led by Mark Sibley-Jones, By the Red Glare Discussion and book signing will reflect how the famous burning of Columbia affected and changed the Capital City and South Carolina. This also will be the last day to see Chapman’s Charleston: 1863-1864, a Civil War art exhibit featuring 33 original paintings by artist and Confederate soldier Conrad Wise Chapman. The lecture and exhibit are included with general admission, which is only $1 for the entire day on Sunday, Feb. 1.
