The Museum Road Show, one of the South Carolina State Museum’s most popular events is back with a special Civil War theme to commemorate the 150 anniversary of the burning of Columbia. The bi-annual event, taking place from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, brings local experts under one roof to offer informal appraisals of fine art, textiles, military memorabilia, furniture, jewelry and more. Tickets are $25 for the first item ($20 for museum members), $35 for two items ($28 members), $45 for three items ($36 members) and $50 for four items ($40 members).
