Meditative investigations with watercolor and limited palette
Is there a cold war going on with your creativity? Has your artistic practice gone covert? We are going to thaw tensions and heat things up with the color RED, the second in our 3-part series exploring primary colors.
Join me for a fun and engaging exploration utilizing watercolor and a palette of variations of red at City Art and paint among the galleries. Working in a contemplative atmosphere we will explore the primary with the broadest spectrum of expression. Students will create a map of color and a dossier (folder) to hold our explorations. This will be a wonderful opportunity to step out of the daily grind without phones (we will bravely check them at the door) and bridge mindfulness with the artistic process. This workshop is ideal for beginners or experienced artists who struggle with returning to a beginner’s mind.
$155 per person. Includes watercolor paper and other papers
